ColdFusion 8 CAPTCHA plugin for Mango
Another plugin for Mango Blog…
If you’ve got ColdFusion 8, you might like to use its built-in CAPTCHA generation instead of using LylaCaptcha (Mango’s default). You can see it in action on this blog.
Simply download the files and unzip them into /components/plugins/user/ – and then activate the plugin from the Add-ons page in the blog admin. Make sure you disable LylaCaptcha as well!
You can change the default settings by selecting CF8 Captcha from the settings page.
UPDATE (13 Oct 08): The plugin now also protects FormToEmail forms, as the default plugin does. Download the plugin, replace it on your server, and Reload Configuration on the cache admin page.

hi, very easy to read the captcha from coldfusion 8, but how can protect the contact page? I see that Lyla Captcha protect the contact form , but the plug in cf8 captcha just protect the comments.

That's a good point, Martin... I hadn't realised the LylaCaptcha plugin did the FormToEmail as well!
I've updated the plugin, and it should now protect your content page too.

Hi Seb,
Thanks for the update. I'll add it to the next automatic update, so that whoever already has it installed will get the new version.
BTW, it would be great if you would add whether or not to show it in the FormToEmail from the settings page. I didn't add that feature in Lyla's because it doesn't have a settings page at all, so I didn't want to have to add it.
