Just launched my first mobile website
My latest web project has just launched – a mobile-optimised version of the successful LoveHoney website, where I’ve been doing web and ColdFusion work on and off for the last couple of years.
LoveHoney have been selling sex toys and lingerie in the UK and around the world for 6 years – so be warned, the sites may not be safe for work! (So all the more reason to browse on your mobile phone…)
The site is designed primarily with the iPhone in mind, but looks great on Android phones, Opera Mini and – as far as I could tell from the emulator – the Palm Pre. It also gives a useable site for those still trying to browse on the terrible browsers in most basic mobile phones…
Here are a few screenshots of the interface:

Although I say so myself, I believe it gives a much better shopping experience than the rather disappointing Amazon mobile site. But then, I am rather biased…
We haven’t yet turned on the auto-redirecting for mobile users from the main site, so you’ll have to navigate directly to m.lovehoney.co.uk, but this should be active within the next few days.
It’s been great adapting to the new challenges of designing for mobile devices, and I’m now looking forward to building my next mobile site – and am open to any offers of work doing this!
This is pretty good, I wish my country will have more iphone penetration in order to develop sites like this.
Good work man, now u gotta get some traffic to that bad boy and your on ur way. good luck..
